The Camp is constructed with Canvas Tents, wood, and thatched roofs that make them to effortlessly blend into the beautiful surrounding natural environment (typically wood).

Ishasha Wilderness Camp’s 10 Tents are hidden within a riverine forest and alongside the Ntungwe River hence providing guests with breathtaking views. However, mostly al fresco meals are served with endless views of River Ntungwe. During favorable weather conditions, Campfires are organized for guests to unwind as well as sundowners while sharing the day’s experiences.

Bush breakfast can be organized for guests in the mornings and sundowners in the late afternoon to allow guests to enjoy views of the stunning Ishasha sector or River Ntungwe. However, these special arrangements are dependent on the weather and come with a private chef.

Guided community walks

Ishasha Wilderness Camp guests can enjoy Agartha’s Taste of Uganda Tour along the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, guests can learn how to prepare local cuisines (Bakiga food), and learn how local ingredients are grown and harvested, ground, cooked, and most interestingly eaten.
