Akagera Game Lodge is a popular accommodation facility within Akagera National Park and sits on the southern side of the Protected Area (only 5 kilometers from the southern gate). Situated along the Eastern border of Rwanda, Akagera National Park is over 1122 square kilometers in size hence making it the largest Park in Rwanda.

Few places will offer a real sense of the wilderness than Akagera game Lodge, hence the reason it is one of visitors’ preferred choices of accommodation.

Staying at Akagera Game Lodge comes with a lot of exciting experiences but nothing beats the excitement of being introduced to the plethora of wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, Topis, giraffes, leopards, spotted hyenas, and many others as well as lots of birds especially papyrus gonoleks, shoebill storks, grey-crowned cranes, Papyrus gonolek, Kingfishers, Red-faced Barbet, cattle egrets, African fish eagles, pelicans, and others.
